A bill filed in the 2021 session of the Wyoming Legislature would prohibit the use of smokable hemp in public and would ban the sale of the hemp to anyone under the age of 21.

Smokable hemp is a cannabis product that has little or no THC, the active ingredient in marijuana. It does have a high CBD content, however. You can read Senate File 90 here. The bill would allow for fines of $50 for the first offense of smoking hemp in public, with subsequent fines of $100 and $500 for second and third offenses.

People convicted of selling the product to anyone under the age of 21 would be liable for a fine of  $250.
