Almost 10K For Project Healing Waters At Thankful Thursday

Another amazing THANKFUL THURSDAY at The Redwood Lounge and big bucks raised for PROJECT HEALING WATERS.

When the Cowboy Country faithful, the crowd at The Redwood Lounge and the members and friends of Cheyenne and Laramie counties best charities get together, the sky's the limit. We raised $9600.00 for Project Healing Waters. Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing, Inc. is dedicated to the physical and emotional rehabilitation of disabled active military service personnel and veterans through fly fishing and fly tying education and outings.

We are back at it for Wreaths Across America this coming Thursday. Educating the public about the importance of honoring the memories of all who sacrificed their time, family, health, and often their lives, to protect the freedoms we enjoy, Wreaths Across America (WAA) commemoration traces its lineage back 21 years.  In 1992, volunteers placed wreaths on Veterans’ graves in Arlington, Virginia.   Since then the initiative has spread to each state across America.   Thanks to the Patriot Guard Riders (PGR) Association of Cheyenne, Wyoming, for the past six years, Veterans and the community hold a program and lay wreaths on the final resting place of fallen comrades in local cemeteries.
