Afflerbach Mourns Loss of Student

Afflerbach Elementary students are mourning the loss of one of their classmates.

"Our thoughts and prayers go to the student's family and friends," said Dr. Tracey Kinney, Laramie County School District 1 Assistant Superintendent of Instruction.

Due to the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, the school district is not able to discuss specifics about the student's passing.

The school's emergency response team has been implemented to support students, staff and parents.
