What’s good enough for San Francisco is good enough for Phoenix when it comes to selling Girl Scout Cookies. Like they say, it’s all about location, location, location!

So after a Girl Scout in San Francisco sold 117 boxes of cookies in just 2 hours, another Girl Scout decided to move her location to see if she could get some major cookie sales--and she did!  The location, by the way, was right outside a medical marijuana dispensary.

8-year-old Lexi Menees decided to move her location to the TruMed Dispensary in Phoenix, Arizona to see if she could boost her Girl Scout Cookie sales, and she did it with the support of her parents.  Lexi’s mother, according to the Salt Lake Tribune, said  “For me, this isn't anything controversial, it’s medication.  It’s no different than standing in front of a Walgreens or a CVS.”

Now this maneuver worked well for Girl Scout Danielle Lei, who parked her stand outside of a medical marijuana store in San Francisco,California, selling 117 boxes of Girl Scout cookies in just 2 hours (She sold 37 more boxes than she did when she was in front of a Safeway store the following day).

Now, according to a Girl Scouts spokesperson, they don’t encourage Girl Scouts to sell outside of medical marijuana dispensaries; however it’s up to the parents as to whether they would allow their daughters to do it.

Some might think Girl Scouts selling their cookies outside of these dispensaries is unethical, while some think that these girls are being "smart cookies" in a business sense. What do you think?   Would you let your daughter sell cookies in front of a medical marijuana dispensary, or do you think it’s unethical?
