Eleven applicants vying for Cheyenne's one available retail liquor license will make their case during two work sessions later this month.

Ace’s Range LLC; Big D Oil #56; Billy Jack’s Pizza Pub; Get Bent, LLC; Ike’s Bar & Grill; and The Old Cheyenne Elevator will present on March 22.

And Natural Grocers; Peaches’ Package Liquor & Bar LLC; Town & Country Supermarket Liquors-North; Westby Edge LLC; and Wyoming Downs OTB 14 will present on March 29.

The work sessions will take place at 6 p.m. in the Laramie County School District 1 Board Room located in Storey Gym. No public comment will be taken.

"Based on the 2020 revised population census, and pursuant to the provisions of Wyo. Stat. 12-4-101, the City of Cheyenne has received authorization from the State of Wyoming Liquor Division to issue one additional retail liquor license," City Clerk Kris Jones said in a press release.

Jones says after the conclusion of the work sessions, the following meetings will take place prior to awarding the license:

  • City Council Meeting (Public Hearing) – Monday, April 11
  • Committee of the Whole – Wednesday, April 20
  • City Council Meeting (Final Approval) – Monday, April 25
