Wyoming senior Haydon Dalton has been selected to play in the Reese’s College All-Star game Friday at the Alamodome in San Antonio, TX.

Dalton will play for the West All-Stars in a game presented by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) at the Final Four. He’s one of 20 players in the contest and the only representative from the Mountain West Conference. The game can be viewed on CBS Sports Network at 2:35 p.m., Mountain Time.

Wyoming head coach Allen Edwards said in a release from UW this is a great chance for Dalton to showcase his talents.

“Hayden (Dalton) playing in the game speaks volumes of his play on the floor and the recognition the program has been receiving. This opportunity helps Hayden get recognized for his terrific season.”

Dalton was an All-MW performer this past season. He was chosen First Team All-Conference by the media and Second Team All-MW by the coaches, and also was a Second Team All-District selection by the NABC. Dalton averaged 17.7 points and a team-leading 7.8 rebounds per game. His 85 three-pointers is the fifth most in a single season at Wyoming. Dalton scored 20 points or more 15 times and had a team-best eight double-doubles.
