When it comes to real-estate property taxes, Wyoming scored in the top ten out of all 50 states (and the District of Columbia) coming in at the 9th spot. The flip side to that coin unfortunately is the Cowboy State landed near the bottom of the list for vehicle property taxes, tying New Hampshire for the 41st spot.

According to a recent study conducted by credit score website WalletHub and information gleaned from the U.S. Census Bureau, of the 27 states that actually have vehicle property taxes, the average yearly cost is $436, which is mere $4 over the Wyoming average cost.

What does all this mean? Wyoming is a great place to buy a house, but not so much for a new vehicle.
