Wyoming Coal Stacks Now Pumpkin Spice Scented [Satire]

It's October, and once again everything has gone pumpkin spice flavored and scented. Lets face it, it has become America's most annoying seasonal fad.

Still, every time there is another pumpkin spice offering most of us feel the urge to try it. That's why the fad keeps going, year after annoying year.

Pumpkin Spice butter, hummus, yogurt, potato chips, chewing gum, vodka, pasta sauce, Oreo cookies, beef jerky, milk, M&Ms, nail polish, soap, marshmallows. The list goes on and on. 

We live in a time when the coal industry has been given a rather unfair reputation, and coal power plants are demonized, what better way to save that reputation then jumping on the pumpkin spice bandwagon.

If you find yourself sniffing their air and wondering where that lovely aroma of pumpkin spice is coming from you might be surprised to learn that it is no other than a Wyoming coal power plant burning pumpkin spice coal.

"Our reputation is in the crapper," said Doug Splicer of the Wyoming Coal Fire Association. "Burning pumpkin spice coal probably won't help that much, but it won't hurt to try."
