Why The Cheyenne Civic Center Is Getting Better
The Cheyenne Civic Center is a truly great place to see a show, and now there will not only be more of them but an improved variety of acts. Expect some 100 shows within the next year and a more broad appeal.
Historically, The venue has catered to an older audience, but now it’s time to grow. To that end, the city has hired David Soules as the new Cheyenne Events Coordinator and he is bringing in more contemporary acts that appeal to wider and younger audiences.
“Bring more events in and more variety.”
Coming up are Easton Corbin with Sean Curtis and the Divide, Peter Frampton, Richard Marx, Comedian Ron White with Josh Blue, Brit Floyd, Lyle Lovett and His Large Band, and The Avett Brothers to name a few.
On Tuesday, the Civic Center announced the family-friendly, Disney based “PJ Masks Live! Time To Be A Hero” on May 23rd. Variety. These are great additions to the quality shows such as the Texas Tenors, Ballet West, the broadway-inspiredMidtown Men, Celtic Women, and The Cheyenne Symphony Orchestra
Many have never been to see The Cheyenne Symphony Orchestra and that is sad. They are missing out on an amazing experience. Music Director and Maestro William Intriligator brings his passion and skills to each performance. You really should experience the CSO.
