Thanksgiving is a wonderful time to gather with family and reflect on the many blessings in our lives unless you're away from family and you don't feel like cooking. Luckily, there are a few places here in Cheyenne where you can enjoy a great Thanksgiving dinner without all the hassle.

Little America will be hosting their annual Thanksgiving brunch in the Grand Ballroom from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at a cost of $40 for adults and $19 for children. They will also serve a brunch buffet and pre-fixe menu at Hathaway's Restaurant until 7 p.m. Reservations are recommended.

Terry Bison Ranch will also be serving Thanksgiving dinner, with four seating times at 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m., and 4:30 p.m. The buffet is priced at $36.99 for adults and $18.50 for children with a ten percent discount for senior citizens and military veterans.

Several local chain restaurants will also be open on Thanksgiving, including Applebee's, Denny's, IHOP, and Village Inn.

The Salvation Army will be serving a free Thanksgiving dinner for needy families on Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at their Fellowship Hall on 601 East 20th Street. The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1881 will be hosting a dinner for active duty military members and veterans from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 2816 E. Seventh Street. Volunteers will also be serving meals for the homeless at the Comea House.
