The are so many beautiful women at Cheyenne Frontier Days a man's neck can get sore with all the turning and looking. So why not make it a little easier by picking one category and leaving it at that.

Cowgirls.

By cowgirls I don't mean girl's dressed like cowgirls. Anyone can put a hat a boots on. I mean real cow girls.

I mean the ones who know how to ride a horse and throw a lasso. The ones who are not afraid to tell the bulls in the bull pen what to do. And by bull pen I men the human men as well as the animals with the horns. They are the ones who are not afraid of hard work and are not afraid to get dirty while doing it. If they fall off a horse and get hurt they rub some dirt it in and saddle back up.

Yet, somehow, all the while, they look warm, tender, and lady like.

How they do it a man will never know.

So here's a salute with hats off and a cheer to the real cowgirls. They've earned the respect and admiration of every red blooded cowboy at Frontier Days.
