Midtown Tavern in Cheyenne now has their new Pride shirts in stock available for sale to the public. All profits from the shirts will go directly toward 'Wyoming Equality', an organization striving to achieve equity for LBGTQ and Two-Spirit Wyomingites.

Midtown Tavern in Cheyenne will soon begin selling new 'Pride' t-shirts. The new shirts will feature the tavern's bison logo as rainbow-colored while on one sleeve, the phrases 'Wyoming Pride' and 'Wyoming Proud' will also be seen. According to Midtown Tavern's Facebook page, all the proceeds from the new shirt's sales will go to 'Wyoming Equality', an organization striving to achieve equity for LBGTQ and Two-Spirit Wyomingites.

Wyoming Equality says the fact that a Cheyenne biker bar is being called out over the sale of violent, homophobic T-shirts shows "the times are changing."

Burlingame also said discrimination against transgender people in terms of the use of restrooms is still legal, and women can be discriminated against in public accommodations and federally funded programs.

Burlingame will be running for her second term in the Wyoming House of Representatives.

Wyoming has led the way for women in this country for 150 years now starting with the right to vote.

The Cheyenne VA is partnering with Wyoming Equality to recognize LGBTQ veterans, and will host a Pride in America event this Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m.

Sara Burlingame of Wyoming Equality says she wants it clearly understood that she does not speak for the NAACP.

The federal Department of Justice will facilitate a meeting on May 23 on bullying and harassment in the district.

While the district says the flags have not been banned, the head of Wyoming Equality says a closer look shows that isn't so clear-cut.

Three weeks ago racist and anti-gay flyers were posted at the school.

91 former McCormick Junior HIgh students published an open letter on the Wyoming Equality Facebook page today, in response to the racist, homophobic flyer that was distributed at the school this week and allegations that a substitute teacher was fired for reporting it.
