Snow Didn’t Slow Special Olympics Torch Run [VIDEO]

The Cheyenne Police Department was well represented in the Law Enforcement Special Olympics Torch Run from Storey Gym to the Wyoming Supreme Court Building Thursday morning. With six members on foot and several in squad cars providing escort, they joined others in support of Wyoming Special Olympics.

Sirens wailed, announcing Special Olympics Wyoming, part of the worldwide movement's largest grass-roots fundraiser and public awareness arm.

The Guardians of the Flame – run the Special Olympics “Flame of Hope” to the Opening Ceremonies of Special Olympics competitions. Special thanks to the Cheyenne Police Protective Association.
