Miranda Lambert is a Parrothead -- who knew?! While attending a Jimmy Buffett concert recently, the country star showed up onstage to help sing "Margaritaville."

Readers can press play above to see a snippet of Lambert's performance with Buffett, which occurred during Buffett's show at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheater in Maryland Heights, Mo., near St. Louis. She's dressed for the occasion in jean shorts, a floral shirt and a lei and flower crown.

After the show, Lambert shared a backstage photo of herself with Buffett. It was her first time seeing him live, she says, and she's "a #parrothead for life now!"

"Margaritaville" is, of course, one of Buffett's most famous songs. The No. 1 single was originally released in 1977; in 1999, Alan Jackson covered the song -- with Buffett on its final verse -- for his Under the Influence album. "Margaritaville" now lends its name to Buffett's restaurant chain, satellite radio station and more.

Lambert is not on tour herself this summer, though she does have a few tour dates on her calendar throughout July and in early August. In mid-August, she will head to Europe for some concerts, and she'll be performing Alaska and Canada in late September and early October.

Lambert's most recent album is her 2016 double-disc offering The Weight of These Wings, which recently went platinum. "Tin Man" is her current single.
