Cheyenne Police Need Help Identifying Check Fraud Suspects
The Cheyenne Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying two men suspected of check fraud.
According to Public Information Officer Alex Farkas, the men (pictured above) entered the Jonah Bank of Wyoming branch at 2015 Central Ave. at about 3:25 p.m. on Sept. 12 and attempted to cash a fraudulent check.
Caught on Camera
Farkas says the men left the bank without obtaining any money, but 20 minutes later tried to use the same scheme at the Jonah Bank of Wyoming branch at 205 Storey Blvd., which is where the security camera photos were captured.
Anyone who recognizes the men or knows their whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers Silent Witness at 307-638-TIPS or visit silentwitnesslaramiecounty.com.
Informants will remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
