A 27-year-old Cheyenne man on the Laramie County Sheriff's Office's "Most Wanted" list has been captured.

According to a booking sheet, Marvell Essjames Evans was arrested at 1:56 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 27, after a Sheriff's corporal and deputies found him hiding under a bed at a residence in the 200 block of Stinson Avenue.

The corporal says Marvell had four warrants.

The warrants were for probation revocation, four counts of forgery-utter, fleeing and eluding, and driving under suspension.

Marvell also reportedly had a bag of methamphetamine in his hand, and before his arrest, the corporal was working on a forgery charge for Marvell writing a check to himself from a deceased person.

Marvell was taken to the Laramie County Detention Center without issue, where he was booked on his warrants and charges of misdemeanor possession of methamphetamine and felony forgery-making.

Meet the Four-Legged Heroes of the Cheyenne Police Department

They may not be able to leap tall buildings in a single bound, but make no bones about it, police dogs play a vital role in the fight against crime.

In many situations, they're the first ones to put their lives on the line to protect their human partners, proving that not all heroes wear capes, some wear fur coats.
