Cheyenne Man Arrested on 2 Felony Warrants
A 43-year-old Cheyenne man wanted for escape and failure to comply is back behind bars.
According to a booking sheet, Adam Lee Trainer was arrested at his house in the 100 block of West 8th Street at 12:23 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 29 due to having two active warrants.
The Laramie County Sheriff's Office says the first warrant was for escape from official detention - felony conviction, and was signed by Laramie County Circuit Court Magistrate Caitlin Harper on Sept. 10, 2024.
The second warrant was for failure to comply with an original charge of felony theft, and was signed by Laramie County District Court Judge Catherine Rogers on Sept. 20, 2024.
Trainer was taken to the Laramie County Detention Center, where he was booked on his warrants.
Bond Set at $3K Cash in Escape Case
Trainer was seen on the escape charge on Monday, Sept. 30.
Circuit Court Judge Thomas Lee set his bond at $3,000 cash and his preliminary hearing was scheduled for Monday, Oct. 7 at 10:30 a.m.
Trainer is scheduled to be seen on his District Court warrant on Oct. 24 at 9 a.m.
