A 36-year-old Cheyenne man has been bound over to Laramie County District Court on seven child pornography charges.

The Arrest

According to a booking sheet, a Laramie County Sheriff’s deputy arrested Bryan Patrick Rosenberg at 208 S. College Dr. at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 8.

It’s alleged that on or about Oct. 16, 2025, Rosenberg distributed child pornography, and that on or about the period of Oct. 16, 2025, to Jan. 8, 2026, he possessed child pornography.

7 Child Pornography Charges

Rosenberg was subsequently charged with six counts of sexual exploitation of a child - distributes child pornography, a felony punishable by five to 12 years in prison, up to a $10,000 fine, or both; and one count of sexual exploitation of a child - possesses child pornography, a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison, up to a $10,000 fine, or both.

That means, if convicted on all counts, he could face 30 to 82 years in prison.

Initial Court Appearance

On Monday, Jan. 12, Rosenberg appeared in Laramie County Circuit Court in front of Judge TJ Forwood on the charges.

Bond Set at $25K Cash

Forwood appointed him a public defender and, at the recommendation of the state, set his bond at $25,000 cash.

Rosenberg Waives Preliminary Hearing

On Wednesday, Jan. 21, Rosenberg waived his preliminary hearing before Judge Sean C. Chambers, binding his case over to District Court.

Bond Arguments

Rosenberg’s attorney asked Chambers to consider reducing the bond to $15,000 at 10%.

"If that's just too low, we would ask for $15,000 cash or surety. If ultimately, it's totally not possible, we would ask for just the $25,000 cash or surety," she said.

"Mr. Rosenberg has been a long-term member of this community. He's lived here since roughly the 4th grade," she added. "I think he has a realistic outlook of where this case will go for him, and his main priority is to take care of his mom and get things arranged so that she can have sustainable living arrangements."

"The state would recommend that bond remain as is, however, if the court sees fit to modify it, the state would ask that it only be modified to a cash or surety version," the state said.

Bond Modified to $25K Cash or Surety

"That's what I will do, $25,000 cash or surety," said Chambers, ordering that Rosenberg not use any device that accesses the internet as part of his bond conditions.

Rosenberg’s next court appearance will be for an arraignment in District Court.

Please remember that all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
