Kohl Krakow Represents Wyoming at USA Clay Target Nationals

Wyoming will be represented at the 2026 USA High School Clay Target League National Championships in Mason, Michigan, this weekend. One of the nearly 3,000 athletes participating in individual and team qualifying events is Pine Bluffs High School student Kohl Krakow. Wyoming does not have a team competing at the event.

After check-in and practice days on Wednesday and Thursday, Krakow will be one of 1,800 high school athletes in the Individual Championship Qualifier on Saturday, July 11. Each athlete will shoot 100 targets, and the top 400 scores will qualify for Sunday’s Individual Championship Round.

Over 40,000 student-athletes participated on over 2,000 high school teams in USA High School Clay Target League programs this spring. Only the teams and athletes with the highest final-season averages at the end of the spring season qualified to register for the National Championship.

Krakow will shoot in Flight 7 on Saturday at approximately noon local time in Michigan. Athletes will have 50 targets per session. Session two will start immediately after session one is completed.
