61-year-old Michael Langforth lost his business, went through a divorce, and has been homeless for about six years. But in December of 2015, his luck has changed. On a fateful day heading into the holiday season he won $500,000 in a scratch-off game.

A worker at the Aspen, Colorado homeless shelter where he has been staying said it could not have happened to a better type of person.

Mike hit bottom but never gave up and held fast to his belief his luck would change. Beating the odds of 840,000 to 1, he can now get back to what is the most important thing to him, his daughter whom he hasn’t seen in 20 years.

Hopefully, things are back on track for Michael.

Best of luck to you Michael.
