High Valley's Curtis Rempel welcomed his second child into the world on Friday (April 7). One-half of High Valley, Rempel is now the father of a daughter, Millie June, and shared his excitement with fans on social media.

"Thrilled to welcome our amazing baby girl to the family! Millie June arrived on Friday and her mommy and I couldn't be more in love," Rempel writes beside a photo of his family on Facebook.

Millie June joins 3-year-old big brother, Ben. According to a press release the family will enjoy a few quiet days at home before High Valley return to the road for headlining and festival shows.

Curtis' brother Brad has two sons of his own, Drew and Cash, both of whom Curtis helped to name. During a recent interview with Taste of Country, Curtis confessed that Taylor Swift played a significant role in helping name his nephews. Brad and his wife Rebekah were driving in the car with Curtis one day when Swift’s chart-topping “Teardrops on My Guitar” was playing on the radio, with the song’s narrator singing about her love for a boy named Drew.

“T Swift came on and I was like, ‘Hey that’s a cool name, how about Drew?'” Curtis says. Adds Brad, “So technically Taylor Swift named my son, which is cool."

Both brothers say their children have had a huge influences on the songs showcased on their recent album, Dear Life.
