Last year, tourists brought in $3.2 Billion to Wyoming. This year could be more. Now that summer is here, and people are road-trippin’, we can say thank you for low gas prices.

American gas prices are so low that USA Today is calling it a "stunning" moment, as gas prices are projected to be lower on the Fourth of July than they were on New Year's Day, the lowest Independence Day price since 2005. It's the first time GasBuddy has made a projection like this in its 17 year history.

You can blame/thank a world glut of oil for driving prices down. And while that is bad for Wyoming’s oil industry and related businesses, we can make it up in tourism. And, we can hit the highway ourselves while forking over less money at the pump.

Here's a song to get you pumped!
